Chicago's Pyscho T (Ty) Thomas

We might be witnessing the emergence of a star in Ty Thomas. He has been improving this whole year and is starting to justify the 4th overall pick in 2006. We all thought he was going to be a bust and the next Tyson Chandler . I was ready to give up on him and was calling to trade him for anyone. Thomas is super athletic and might be the most ahtletic player on the court. Last night was no different as he finished with 24 points and 5 rebounds. Who would have thought he would go 14-14 from the free throw line. That stat jumps out at me the most as that shows me he is not settling for a 15 footer and is attacking the basket. He along with D Rose will lead the Bulls in the future and into the playoffs. Do you think we should trade him or have him as a building block for the future??

yo rick, what up pimp!!

gotta keep tyrus, we cant keep holdin on to players as they mature, then when they mature and are ready to be a stud, get rid of them (although it worked well with that slob curry, chandler was a force with that we shoulda kept)...thomas and d.rose in the future will be great to watch...what do you think about them adopting the d'antoni way of playing...i think it could work considering they got young big men that are athletic and can run (noah and thomas), shooters in salmons and gordon, and best young guard in the league in rose...heinrich can also come in and play that pg role

I agree we have to keep Tyrus he is still very young and is blossoming until a very good player.I am tentative to throw out "great" player until he produces in the playoffs as that is where great players are made. I think are team can be the old Phoneix Suns of the East. Like you said they have athletic bigs that can run the floor. However, I don't think Ben Gordon will be back next year unless he gives us a "hometown" discount which I doubt.
