Chit Chat of the Day

Here come the Hawks the Mighty Blackhawks!!!! Wow, what a great game last night! I was definitely nervous after the first period as we showed our youth and came out flat. However, the resilient Hawks did what they did all year and fought until the end. Havlat played out of his skates and stepped up and played liked a man on a mission. I believe Havlat feels he needs to step up as he has the most playoff experience in the skilled positions. He did not disappoint; by tying the game up with about 5 minutes left after shooting a wrister and getting the rebound to light the lamp to force OT. If you went and grabbed a beer or a snack you might of missed the OT breakaway goal from Havlat. It was the 4th quickest OT playoff goal in NHL History. What were your thougts on the game? Who played well? Who played tentative. I think Kaner needs to get over his nerves and realize he's in the NHL PLAYOFFS, YOU ARE GOING TO GET HIT!

I agree I thought Kane was going to burst into tears. Suck it up kid, they will be gunning for you. I think Bolland is a damn good deensive player who doesnt get much credit. He knocked that pass out of the air to set up that OT goal. He is also amazing on the penalty kill. Him and Burrish are all over the place and in everyones face.

Great game way to come from behind. Already looking forward to Saturdays game!

Well said, Kane did look like he was going to be in tears. We need him to play with confidence to say the least. Even when he would make a move he was quick to pass the puck to avoid a hit. Burish was a maniac last night and vital to the victory. Play of the game could have been Khabi's glove save with about 2 minutes left in the 3rd period. That was a great save!
